The Midway Gardens was built in 1913-1914 as a city block sized restaurant and entertainment complex. (Demolished in 1929) The SPRITE Sculptures, by Wright & Alphonso Ianelli, sat atop the exterior walls.

The Sprite comes in 3 different sizes: 1) 31" x 7" x 6" (this auction) or 2) 12" x 3" x 2.5" 3) full-scale 64".
